Through warfare and strife, a new fate shall be made. Prosperity for all life, this document bade. Only six shall there be, with none above the rest. Any quarrels we decree, be resolved by charisma's due test. Lay low the sword, take up the quill. For coin we once warred, but together a new promise we fulfill.

Forged in ages past, the Guildwick Covenant is both a document of law and a ruling body. Once, the continent of Ylence was in great turmoil. The various city-states warred ceaselessly while the various economic guilds did their best to merely conduct business. Eventually, their patience wore thin, and an agreement was struck with the help of Primus, Lord of Mechanus. To this end, 6 Guilds rose to prominence, forging a new capital in the city of Oravine. Though the Guilds who sit on the Bienam Council which oversees the Covenant have changed throughout the years, the original purpose is maintained to this day.
