The Vessuna have a complicated relationship with this god. Manu gives trouble and takes it away. Her church preaches that adversity makes us stronger, making a case for her ultimate benevolence, but it must be said that she probably hears almost as many muttered curses as heartfelt prayers for aid.

The Trials: This tome details Manu's entire life, but even the faithful usually only read the final three chapters, each of which details one of the trials that she created for herself in order to achieve apotheosis.
