Shadar-kai

Shadar-kai are an offshoot of elves bound to the Shadowfell after the fall of the Raven Queen, whom they serve. Within the Shadowfell, they resemble withered, almost corpse-like elves, with wrinkled skin and swollen joints; on other planes they appear more youthful. Their hair is pale, and their skin takes on a deathly pall no matter where in the planes they are located. They prefer to wear cloaks and veils, or masks of wood or metal, to conceal their features.
