Moradin

Moradin (a.k.a. The Dwarffather, The Soul Forger, The Creator)

Moradin is the god of the dwarves and the chief deity of the Morndinsamman. The Soul Forger is strength incarnate and force of will embodied, a harsh but fair judge who evaluates his creations by the goodness of their works first and intentions second. The Dwarffather inspires dwarven inventions and constantly seeks to improve their race, encouraging a good-natured, intelligent, and harmonious existence with other races while battling the proud and isolationist tendencies.

All dwarves begin to celebrate the Festival of Moradin on the third day of Eldamon each year. The week-long feast recognises that dwarves would not exist were it not for The Soul Forger, and so each day of the festival is filled with merriment, feasting, and competitions of strength and cunning.
