The Iomedae Church

The Spirit of Golarion

The original colonizers of the planet and founders of the city. Due to the growth of the colony and the diversification beyond being just a monastery and holy site the church gave control of the planet over to the people. They still maintain a large influence over politics and help keep the nation safe with their Holy Order. The church often employs the Adventurer's Guild to resolve issues the knights order would be unfit to handle.

Structure

The church stretches far across the galaxy and had trillions of followers but follows the teachings of one Pope. On the other hand there are many Cardinals who serve as heads for individual systems. The church sponsors Iomedae's Holy Order.

Culture

As the patron goddess of humanity, the Spirit of Golarion counts humans as the majority of her worshipers, but many vesk and kasathas are attracted to her code of honorable battle. A typical follower of Iomedae is a right-minded, hardworking person, helpful toward others and ready to accept help when it is offered.
