The Traditionalists

The Traditionalists broadly advocate for preserving traditions, values, and customs, while also championing cultural diversity, and a strengthening of common values. They call for an increased focus on the military while still advocating for mostly peaceful resolutions and nonviolent solutions. Nonetheless, they recognise the importance for a more direct approach to defense and view the current system as inadequate. Generally fearful of other powers such as Kannosta and especially Remora, they fear that a weak Lavenna will be swept away along with its traditions, values and principles.
As of 500 AGL, the Traditionalists currently hold a sizeable 102 seats in the Communal Assembly, though not nearly maintaining the level of support of the Liberalists or Federationists. Ever since the ascension of Seripha, their numbers have grown, and they continue to call for the Republic's expulsion.

Public Agenda

The Traditionalists seek to reinforce the many diverse traditions of the nation and hope to prevent them from being homogenized and lost. 
They also hope to foster cultural vibrancy and encourage the development of rich communal cultures and identites. 
As for ecologic restoration, for which they are strong advocates, they believe that traditional approaches are more effective than new technologies.
Lastly, they advocate for a renewed importance and focus on national defense and the military, while still asserting the importance of non-agression and peaceful resolutions.
