The Noble's Alliance
A group of five Noble families that proved themselves as allies to both Feyport and the Fairie Courts. As pillars of the community, they were awarded large manors and titles for their service in helping found and run Feyport and the business it had with the Fairie Courts. These families continued to thrive for 314 years, up until their brutal culling in 1219. The Mad Lord Sagard, fueled by jealousy of the Nobles and a deep-seated fear that they would take his throne, took drastic and criminal measures to keep himself in power. Eventually, it caught up with him, and when the Unseelie were sent to Feyport to find who had wronged the Courts and deal with them, Sagard pointed his finger at the Nobles, framing them to save his own hide.
The Unseelie, moved by their anger, came down violently on the Nobles' Quarter in the still of the night. The carnage was unrivaled, and the Nameless left a curse on the land. Not one soul would have peace for what they had done, the charred land wouldn't prosper and the restless spirits were doomed to haunt the halls forever. Most people think the Nobles all died that day, but a few escapees made it out. You know of two survivors, Finmiel Whitlow and Rory Chaffigan.
