Zari Vaniisǫgr

Captain Zari Ase Vaniisǫgr, is a Caniic servicewoman of the Sword Masters Corps of the Hierarchy Armed Forces holding the rank of captain. Zari is a skilled pilot, sharpshooter, and swordswoman assigned to the HSS Explorer, currently leading an expedition unit on the colony world of Surniic to assess any potential threats that may hamper further colonization of the planet. Zari is also an excellent biologist of alien anatomy and physiology, particularly those of the Tigriic and Sauruanian races. Though, she has come to know much about the native wildlife of two colonies controlled by the Hierarchy.

Zari is the only daughter of Hierarchy Governor-General, Jaal Vaniisǫgr and former Hierarchy Army and Naval captain, Ase Kynjóttar, and twin sister of Jasson Vaniisǫgr. Some of Zari's closest contacts are those of her expedition fireteam, including Lieutenant Ranger Iveer Airresǫgr, whom she is in a relationship with.
