Zachary Marshall

Admiral Zachary Henry Samuel Marshall (service number 99865-62792-ZM) was a decorated Earth-born Martian serviceman of the United Space Command Navy holding the rank of admiral. Zachary, being extremely decorated, was known far and wide throughout the USC. He served during the Jovian Conflict of 2687 where he led several units to victory on Titan, Io, and Ganymede earning a bronze star, three silver star with the third eventually being upgraded to a medal of honor, and four purple hearts. During the Second Energy War, Zachary was captured by enemy forces on Tania and held prisoner for nine months until he killed his captors and escaped. He later commanded two starships during the Battle of Washington, and the Battle of Knossos two months later. After several tours in the Planetary War on Terror and the early stages of the Outer Colonies Conflicts, Zachary died of an undiagnosed heart condition that triggered a massive heart-attack while off-world.
Zachary was preceded in death by both of his parents James and Karen Marshall, and his eldest brother Robert Marshall. He is survived by his youngest brother David Marshall, wife Caitlyn Holman, daughters Lara Daniels, Amanda Marshall, and Hannah Marshall, and two granddaughters and two grandsons.
Fleet Admiral and chairman of the USC, Martin Gains, honored Zachary's dedication and heroism by naming the USC's newest Achilles-Class Battleship after him.
