USC Blue Dawn

The Blue Dawn is a Discovery-class starship of the United Space Command's eighth fleet. It was first put into service in the autumn of 2378 during the conflicts of Makarovich in the Russian-controlled Vera system. The Blue Dawn is an older design of the standard Discovery-class battleships currently in service, one reason which makes it perfect for scouting and reconnaissance type mission. It has had nine commanders in total with three of them being heroic war heroes: Major General Courtney Cortez, Admiral Arnold Götz, and General Everett Whitney. As an older ship, the Dawn is mostly used as an escort for diplomatic and colony ships and as a exploratory vessel. Very rarely will the Blue Dawn be dispatched into direct combat with enemy forces.
