Early life and education

Serenity Katherine Bennett was born on July 20, 2689 in the Martian city of Terra. She is the third-born child and eldest daughter of Isaac and Mary Bennett, and has three siblings, two older brothers and one younger sister. Throughout her life, Serenity has been known for her exceptional beauty, and has consistently displayed a close bond with her mother and sister. At the age of 5, Serenity began crossdressing, expressing a preference for girl clothing. Two years later, she fully embraced girlhood, requesting her name be changed to Serenity and to be referred to by female pronouns.
Although Serenity adopted a female identity, she never experienced any feelings of being born in the wrong body, nor does she suffer from gender dysphoria, except in terms of her attire and personality. Serenity's decision to transition from male to female was primarily motivated because girls were often treated better than boys. When her parents asked when she was going to go back to living as a boy, Serenity said 'never'. Seeing that they still had two other sons, Serenity's parents agreed to allow her to remain their daughter.
Serenity's high school years were marked by her remarkable presence and beauty. She effortlessly blended in with her peers, making it nearly impossible to distinguish her from other girls, largely thanks to the female hormones she was taking. In fact, her striking appearance won her the coveted title of 'Most Beautiful Girl' during her sophomore year.
For her sixteenth birthday, Serenity's parents surprised her with a full gender reassignment surgery, however, they both encouraged her to think about it before agreeing to it, as it meant that she would never be able to be a man again. Serenity just replied that she didn't need to think about it, she was a girl, not a boy.
Shortly after high school, Serenity decided to make her life as a woman even mire authentic by undergoing treatment in a reconstruction pod and become biologically female.

College

After graduating high school, Serenity went on to attend the prestigious Mars Institute of Cyberintelligence (MIC), where she studied computer science and cryptography. She excelled in her studies, earning top marks in all of her classes and quickly gaining a reputation as one of the brightest minds in her field. Serenity's transition had not affected her academic performance, and she was able to focus on her studies without any distractions. It was here, shortly after starting at MIC, that Serenity reconnected and fell in love with her former classmate from high school, Edward Morris. The two dated for months until Edward popped the question with her saying yes.

Career

Upon graduating from Mars Institute of Cyberintelligence, Serenity landed a job at a top cybersecurity firm, where she quickly rose through the ranks to become a lead programmer. Her expertise in codebreaking and cryptography proved to be invaluable to the company, and she was soon tasked with working on some of their most high-profile projects. Despite facing discrimination and prejudice from some of her colleagues due to her gender identity, Serenity remained focused and determined to prove herself as a skilled and capable programmer. It wasn't until she was scouted by a representative from the Section One Division of the Office of Space Intelligence that Serenity's life would take a drastic turn. Serenity knew OSI's reputation was one that was often marked by secrecy and mistrust, but she felt ready for the challenge.
She accepted the position with OSI, and soon found herself working on some of the most classified information across human-controlled space. Her skills in codebreaking and cryptography were put to the test on a daily basis, and she found herself constantly learning and improving. But the work was vital, and Serenity was determined to do her part to keep each UNF colony safe from rebel and terrorist groups, both foreign and domestic.

Serenity's reputation as a brilliant programmer and codebreaker only continued to grow within OSI. Her colleagues admired her dedication and work ethic, and she quickly became known as the go-to person for any problem that required a solution using cryptography. Her past life as a man was never an issue, as she never lived as one, everyone viewed her as a normal intelligent young woman.

Despite her successful career, Serenity has maintain a fulfilling personal life, being a bit of a party girl during her early twenties. She enjoyed hitting the clubs with her friends and dancing the night away, but as she got older, she began to crave something more meaningful. In 2709, she reunited with Edward Morris, an old classmate from highschool. They quickly reconnected, and Serenity found herself falling in love.

Family, marriage, and relations

Serenity is the elder daughter and third child of General Isaac Bennett, commander of the TODT and Mary Jane Lorne, a renowned runway model. Her parents were supportive of her from a young age, and they were accepting of her gender identity, even when others were not. Serenity has two older brothers, Taylor and Joshua, and one younger sister, Melissa, who have always been her biggest supporters, and they share a close bond despite their busy lives. She has been happily married since 2710 to former highschool classmate, Edward Morris. Serenity is also the proud mother of a thirteen year old son, Isaac, who she loves more than anything. Serenity and Edward's relationship has been a strong one, built on a foundation of mutual respect and understanding. However, Serenity's work with OSI often keeps her away from home for extended periods of time, which can be a strain on their relationship.
