Pulse Blade

The Pulse Blade is a magnetically-retractable melee weapon engineered for close-quarters combat that resonates molecular pulses that is able to cut through just about anything. When deactivated, the weapon folds seamlessly into a compact hilt. Within this deceptively small frame lies a sophisticated tri-segment magnetic retraction system. Precision-guided magnetic rails and high-torque micro-servos deploy and retract the blade in under half a second, locking them into place with a resounding snap. Stabilized magnetic clamps secure the extended blade with unyielding rigidity, allowing it to function as a monolithic edge during combat.
