Office of Energy and Power Management

The Office of Energy and Power Management is a department of the Executive Office of the Hierarchy Governorate, established by the Hierarchy Representative Assembly on Meia 9, 1967, with a broad mandate to advise the Governor-General on the effects on energy production and regulation and oversees Hierarchy energy policy and manages the research and development of Photon-Nitrogen Power and Photon-Nitrogen weapons across Hierarchy member states and planetary colonies. The Office oversees the Hierarchy's Photon Nitrogen weapons program, nitrogen reactor production for the Hierarchy Space Corps, energy-related research, and energy production and energy conservation.
Since the mid to late-2230s, thirteen governor-generals (including the incumbent, Jaal Vaniisǫgr) have put forth several attempts to make the OEPM a principal department of the Hierarchy Governorate.
Governor-General Jaal Vaniisǫgr's nominee to be as director of the Office of Energy and Power Management was former Yu'toriic Councilor, Athils Averascernsǫgr, who was approved by the Security Council on Jonuariic 31, 2720 by a vote of 10 to 3. Averascernsǫgr is the second youngest Director of Energy and Power Management.
