Neptune
Neptune, or Sol VIII, is a gas giant and the eighth farthest planet in the Sol system after Uranus. Neptune has no permanent human habitats. However, there are several Defense Stations in orbit that act as an early warning system for possible hostile ships entering Sol from the outer edge. Neptune also has several more resource stations that collect hydrogen from its atmosphere for use as a fuel component in the EHIIC (electric hydrogen-injected internal combustion) engine. There is also a plan by the UNF to attempt a terraforming project of Neptune by removing most of the hydrogen and helium-rich atmosphere to expose the core and create a new atmosphere using the oxygen from the water collected, nitrogen from the ammonia, and carbon dioxide using carbon from methane. It is a lengthy process, and the icy planet will likely not be habitable for at least two or three centuries.
