Martian Rebellion of 2380

The Martian Rebellion of 2380, or commonly known as the Martian War for Independence by native Martians, was a revolt of Martian Revolutionaries with the goal to free Mars from the tightening grip of UNF governance. The Rebellion was fought for eight years until the UNF concluded that the conflict was too costly with the ongoing Arabic Republic War. On March 2, 2388, the UNF agreed to allow full independence of Mars from direct UNF governing control, thus making Mars the first independent human colony in Sol.
