Lieutenant Governor-General of the Hierarchy

The Lieutenant Governor-General of the Hierarchy is the deputy chief administrative officer of the Caniic Hierarchy. The office was created to handle many of the administrative responsibilities of the goveror-general, help manage Governorate operations, and ensure coherence of activities and programs.
Mjior Euriasǫgr of Andractiic was named as lieutenant governor-general by then governor-general-elect Jaal Vaniisǫgr. Euriasǫgr assumed the office the same day as Vaniisǫgr began his term, on 1 Jonuariic 2720.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities generally delegated by the governor-general to the lieutenant governor-general include:

• To assist the Governor-General in managing the operations of the Governorate;

• To act for the Governor-General at Caniic Hierarchy Headquarters in the absence of the Governor-General and in other cases as may be decided by the Governor-General;

• To support the Governor-General in ensuring inter-sectoral and inter-institutional coherence of activities and programs and to support the Governor-General in elevating the profile and leadership of the Caniic Hierarchy in the education, economic and social spheres, including further efforts to strengthen the Caniic Hierarchy as a leading center for development policy and development assistance;

• To represent the Governor-General at conferences, official functions and ceremonial and other occasions as may be decided by the Governor-General;

• To undertake such assignments as may be determined by the Governor-General;

The director in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor-General is a sitting observer of the Caniic Hierarchy Development Programme.
