Verse 1:
From the depths of the Howlveil's might, Rise the voices of the storm tonight. Born from winds that never cease, Krovenn hearts beat for the peace of strife.Chorus:
Hear the thunder in our cry, As we watch the lightning split the sky. In the storm’s embrace, we stand tall, One force, one empire, above all.Verse 2:
With the storm's fury, we claim our fate, In the tempest's roar, our enemies abate. Forged in darkness, and tempest’s glow, Mighty Krovenn, our strength we show.Chorus:
Hear the thunder in our cry, As we watch the lightning split the sky. In the storm’s embrace, we stand tall, One force, one empire, above all.Bridge:
Through the gales, our spirits fly, Beneath the storm’s eternal eye. Brathok’s lineage, bold and just, In the Emperor’s name, we trust.Chorus:
Hear the thunder in our cry, As we watch the lightning split the sky. In the storm’s embrace, we stand tall, One force, one empire, above all.Outro:
As the storm calms, our victory clear, Voices of valor, foes shall fear. Under storm-scarred skies, forever roam, Krovenn warriors, forever home.Government and politics

The primary sectors of economic output are:
- Heavy Industry & Weapons Manufacturing: Over 42% of domestic production is directed toward armaments, including anti-matter-infused slugs, pulse blades, and storm-hardened exo-armor. Foundries such as the Mol'Thrax Crucibles in the Ironvale region produce modular artillery units and adaptive plating for war vehicles. Each warband maintains its own forges, but bulk production is centralized in state-operated complexes like Varnak Core Foundry.
- Resource Extraction & Refinement: Draxion-8 is rich in volatile metallic compounds and conductive minerals such as Threxite, a rare element used in storm capacitors and warship shielding. Deep-core mining rigs operate beneath the planet’s faulted crust, powered by geothermal stabilizers and protected by autonomous defense units. Extracted materials are refined in storm-shielded arc plants, with high energy demands met by dark matter reactor cores.
- Shipbuilding & Spacecraft Engineering: Orbital facilities like the Kaarn Forge Ring handle the construction of planetary carriers, drop ships, and war-hulks, with frames built to endure electromagnetic surges. These ships are modular, with internal structures designed to accommodate different warband loadouts. Engineering collectives compete for design honors, with successful innovations awarded Imperial Seals of Function, which carry economic privileges and resource access.
- Bio-Sustenance and Nutritional Alchemy: Krave’nil, a nutrient-dense, plant-algae fermentation used across the empire for recovery and endurance, is cultivated in subterranean hydro-facilities insulated from storm fallout. Its production is controlled by certified guilds, and it’s rationed for both civilian use and battlefield deployment, forming a critical logistical commodity.
- Dark matter-reactive Energy Systems: The Krovenn have pioneered the use of dark matter reactor cores and composite capacitors to channel ultra-dense energy fields into usable power. These systems fuel storm-refined forges, plasma-conductive railguns, and planetary defense grids. Dark matter cores are extracted in sealed chambers far beneath Draxion-8’s crust, then refined and stabilized within magnetic confinement rings before being distributed to key military-industrial hubs.
- Trade and External Relations: Despite their insular nature, the Krovenn do engage in tactical trade, most notably with the Hivivian Empire. In exchange for Krovenn military contracts and refined minerals like Threxite, the Krovenn acquire alien navigation AI, quantum metallurgy techniques, and high-efficiency medical nanites—technologies too inefficient or resource-costly to develop internally. These trades are often temporary, bound by strict honor-compacts, and are never allowed to create strategic dependencies. Krovenn diplomatic officers—called Trade Blades—are trained warriors entrusted with protecting both the negotiation and the cargo, ensuring that even commerce remains under martial discipline.
- Currency and Value Systems: The primary currency is the Storm Dollar, a polymer-metal hybrid currency embedded with electromagnetic authentication strips. Storm Dollars are used primarily in inter-regional logistics, requisitioning, and supply chain operations, issued by the Imperial Treasury and backed by quantifiable units of refined Threxite or military-grade alloys. A parallel prestige economy exists through Battle Coins, which serve as tokens of personal merit. These engraved metal discs are non-transferable by law (except in ceremonial contexts) and can be used for:
- Access to elite training facilities
- Claiming priority rights to rare equipment
- Elevation within warband hierarchy
- Supply and Demand Dynamics: Resource scarcity due to extreme planetary conditions creates a command-distribution model rather than a free market. Raw materials are requisitioned based on combat utility and redistributed through military logistical nodes. Civilian production is secondary and typically revolves around maintaining warband infrastructure, producing basic housing materials, and generating standardized clothing and rations.
- Risks and Vulnerabilities: While robust in wartime, the Krovenn economy faces structural weaknesses during prolonged peacetime or resource stasis. If external engagements decline, large sectors—especially arms manufacture—face underutilization, leading to political pressure from warband factions that depend on ongoing campaigns to justify industrial outputs. The Empire mitigates this with periodic Military Readiness Tournaments, which justify continued production under the guise of training. In addition, reliance on Draxion-8’s volatile atmosphere for energy places key production centers at risk of environmental disruption. Redundant facilities have been constructed in highland vaults and outer-system colonies, but these are costly and not yet self-sustaining.
