Krilloir

The Krilloir are a rarely encountered bipedal alien species from the planet Dahorica. Krilloir are massive muscular beings that outsizes every other Hivivian race, however, they are extremely passive when not provoked. So much in fact that the Krilloir have been forced into the Hivivian to act as heavy tank-like soldiers. They possess phenomenal strength but little intellect.

Biology

Anatomy & physiology

The Krilloir evolved on an extremely high-gravity world, making them slow, but incredibly strong that stand approximately 13 feet tall and have thick grey skin and purple blood. Above each hand, they possess two bony spikes, which can be used as brutal melee instruments in combat. Despite lacking intelligence, they are immensely powerful due to their strength and size. Their bodies can survive immense duress, and some have been known to survive several direct hits with rocket-propelled grenades and block tank shells with their hands. Instead of an eye, they possess a fleshy patch on their foreheads, which emits a "thrumming" sound that allows them to map out their surroundings through echolocation. They are a sapient species, but without anyone controlling them, they are described as little more than stupid and feral beasts, with the control system, however, their master can see what they see and even speak through them.
Their large, heavy bodies are incapable of moving quickly, but they possess a rather imposing stature and immense strength, as well as thick, tough skin. Given their method of communication, they have highly-attuned olfactory senses. They also have at least three stomachs.
Krilloir speech is heard by most species as a flat, ponderous monotone. Among themselves, scent, extremely slight body movements, and subvocalized infrasound convey shades of meaning that make a human smile seem as subtle as a fireworks display. Since their subtlety can lead to misunderstandings with other species, the krilloir prefix all their dialog with non-krilloir with an emotive statement to clarify their tone.
These massive creatures can live for centuries although not to the same extent as shalgan or staalzi. A hundred or so years is considered young by krilloir standards while four hundred years give or take is considered old and grandfatherly.
