KNIGHT neural interface

The KNIGHT neural interface is a technologically advanced upgrade to the standard neural interface that is utilized by Knight supersoldiers. This interface is an integral part of the Knight's augmentations, and it cannot be removed without performing advanced surgical procedures or causing fatal injuries to the host.
Similar to the standard-issue and command neural interfaces, the KNIGHT neural interface allows the Knight to establish a direct neural connection with their equipment, weapons, and vehicles. This connection enables the Knight to operate these systems more efficiently and effectively in combat situations. The interface also allows the Knight to interface with other technological devices, including computer systems and communication networks. Moreover, the KNIGHT neural interface offers additional features and benefits that are not available with the standard neural interface. Background

In addition to the standard functions of a neural interface, the KNIGHT neural interface is unique in that it is designed to allow an AI construct to directly interface with the Knight's brain. Therefore, the AI resides in both the armor and the wearer's mind; essentially, it exists in both places at once. The interface allows the AI access to most of the suit's internal systems, though the Knight has override control. The AI is capable of significantly improving the data transfer rate between the motor cortex of the Knight and the EXCALIBER's processing unit, further improving the Knight's already lightning-quick reaction speed.
