Immolation

The Immolation, also known as the Great Civil War, was a lengthy and brutal conflict that engulfed the planet Pheonope, the homeworld of the Becceorian species. This devastating war occurred shortly before the year 1785 and brought about the destruction of civilization on the planet. The conflict emerged as the culmination of a series of preceding wars and conflicts that had escalated over time.
The two main factions involved in the Immolation were the Condar Avik and the Surkir Avik. Under the leadership of Chieftain Curniaus, the Condar Avik rallied their clans and fought against the Surkir Avik, commanded by Chieftain Durnenum. These two powerful master-packs were joined by various allied clans and factions, resulting in a complex and fractured battlefield. The casualties suffered throughout the war were extremely heavy, with both sides sustaining immense losses. The destruction wrought by the conflict led to the collapse of the once-thriving civilization on Pheonope, leaving the planet devastated and its inhabitants greatly diminished in number. The war was the beginning of the most devastating conflicts in Becceorian history prior to the Hivivian Empire's arrival in 2647.
