Hierarchy Protective Services Agency
The Hierarchy Protective Services Agency is a division of the Tíreian Security department, responsible for the protection of the Governor-General and official residences. This highly-trained team serves as bodyguards for the Governor-General and plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety of the governor-general. The Protective Services Agency is also tasked with safeguarding the official residences, which include the Headquarters of the Caniic Hierarchy and other important government buildings.
However, the Protective Services Agency is not limited to these responsibilities. It is also the primary infantry unit responsible for the defense of Hagis City. They work in conjunction with the Hierarchy Military to ensure the safety of citizens and government officials in the city. The agency's personnel undergo rigorous training in order to be able to handle any situations that may arise during their duties, including sabotage, riots, and terrorist attacks.
Prior to its current state, the Protective Services Agency was formed as part of the department of the military. Its original role was to investigate misconduct within the Armed Forces. However, with the assassination of Governor-General Kiver Kynjóttar in 2145, the focus of the agency shifted to protection services, with agents being assigned to safeguard the Governor-General at all times. Since then, the Protective Services Agency has only grown in size and importance, with their duties expanding to encompass matters of international security.
