Hierarchy Department of Education

The Hierarchy Department of Education is the governorate department of the Caniic Hierarchy government, responsible for matters pertaining to Youth, Boot Camp, and university education within the Hierarchy. It began operating on Meia 12, 2002, having been created after the Department of Health, Education, and Caniic Services was split into the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Welfare Services by the Department of Education Organization Act, which Governor-General Skurfa Airresǫgr signed into law on Sebtimbar 12, 2001.
The Department of Education is administered by the Hierarchy Administrator of Education. It has 12,650 employees - the fifth largest staff of the Governorate departments - and an annual budget of ð67.9 billion. The Governor-General's 2725 Budget request is for ð79.8 billion which includes funding for children with disabilities, and work assistance, among other programs.
The current Administrator of Education is former Boot Camp instructor and decorated war hero, Vermund Aslaksǫgr, whom assumed office on Fibuariic 20, 2720.
