Endurance
Endurance, formally known as Alderamin III, is a terrestrial planet of Alderamin system of the Orion Arm of the Milkyway Galaxy. Endurance is one of earliest Outer Colonies of Humanity's interstellar empire approximately 50.2 lightyears from Earth. First discovered and colonized on 23rd March 2219, Endurance and its capital city of Shackleton are a major trading center of the Outer Colonies.
In 2707, Endurance fell to rebel control during the Outer Colonies' civil war against the UNF but was later retaken by USC forces on 19th August, 2717 and the rule of law reestablished. By 2728, Endurance became the central battleground of the Outer Colonies during the Human-Hivivian War. Fortunately, as its name, Endurance endured and survived the war, though, not without extreme losses and billions of dollars in infrastructure damage.
