CT-8 Tactical Motor Bike
The CT-8 Highspeed All-Terrain Tactical Motor Bike, or the Cheetah, is a cutting-edge vehicle that has been introduced to the United Space Command Armed Forces in recent years. As a two-wheeled variant of the M7 Wolverine Quad bike, the Cheetah offers enhanced mobility and versatility on the battlefield. It has rapidly gained popularity among the Marine Corps, Army, and TODT (Tactical Orbital Defense Troopers). One of the key features of the Cheetah is its high-speed capability. It boasts an advanced engine that allows it to achieve top speeds, making it ideal for quick deployment and maneuvering in various terrains. This speed advantage not only enhances the vehicle's tactical effectiveness but also enables rapid response and flexibility in fast-paced mission scenarios.
Another notable aspect of the Cheetah is its all-terrain capabilities. Designed to overcome even the most challenging landscapes, this vehicle is equipped with specialized suspension systems, rugged tires, and advanced shock absorbers. These features enable the Cheetah to navigate through rough terrains, such as rocky mountainsides or muddy swamps, with ease, ensuring that the armed forces can reach their objectives regardless of the environmental conditions. Moreover, the Cheetah was specifically tailored to meet the needs of the modern infantry. It provides excellent stability and control, allowing soldiers to remain steady while operating weaponry mounted on the bike. The vehicle's ergonomic design also ensures high levels of comfort, reducing fatigue during long missions. Additionally, it offers ample storage space for equipment and supplies, further enhancing its practicality and usefulness on the field.
Design Details
Aside from being two-wheeled, the Cheetah shares many similarities with the M7 Wolverine. One of these is the armor plating that covers the entire frame. However, the Cheetah is not armed with any weaponry. The Cheetah is powered by an electric hydrogen-injected Internal Combustion Engine that is enclosed at the middle of the bike. It features no exhaust system which makes for more room for cargo and for better speed and mobility.Service History
The CT-8 Cheetah, though it was developed in the late fall of 2716, it didn't see any real use among the military until 2718. Before the militarized variants took off, the Cheetah was rather popular among the civilian population for extreme motocross sports for its light weight frame and energy efficient output. By 2718, the Cheetah started to gradually be incorporated into military services, most commonly the Marine Corps and TODT.Variants
