Destroyer

A small class of warship, typically larger and more versatile than a corvette. In larger fleet actions, they serve as escorts for more powerful elements, or hunt in packs.
In smaller fleets and strike groups, a destroyer may be selected as a flagship, given their increased survivability, endurance, and firepower. They are the smallest rated class which can provide suborbital fire support with little to no modifications.
