Warforged Origins

Overview:

The Warforged were first prototyped and crafted at the beginning of the War, just prior to the fall of both the Krelyrian and Canaan Empires. Initially prototyped by Magisters of the Imperium, crafted and tinkered by Gnomish Artificers, and sponsored by the King himself to serve as his private army. The Warforged and the magicks used to create them and their Souls have since been lost to time since the end of the War.

Utility

There were a variety of Warforged created of all sizes and shapes, as they were inspired by and replicated to imitate many creatures and races found in both Krelyria and Canaan. Namely, Erron Panzer's anatomy greatly resembles that of fit young male Goliath warrior.

Manufacturing

The creation of Warforged, again, was lost to time. Though hundreds were made one after another in order to produce an army capable of leveling and laying waste an Empire.

Inventor(s)

The exact inventor of Warforged is lost to time, it is unknown who can be credited directly with crafting an artificial Soul.

Access & Availability

Most Warforged are either dilapidated and rotting in old fields of battle or are barely making a living whilst scrounging for scraps and maintenance throughout both Krelyria and Canaan.

Complexity

Warforged by nature are more advance than any Golem, Clockwork, and Gnomish Toy created to date. General maintenance such as cleaning and some repairs can be achieved by novice Artificers, but anything beyond that lies within the realm of masters.

Discovery

It is unknown how the creation of Souls for the Warforged was achieved, though answers may lie within the main campus of the Imperium Academia.
