Lessaris and Yasmeen fight over the new sword.

On the way back to town, the party attempts to separate the sword from Lessaris, who has been acting strange. They have been buring weird magical papers every day, and are weirdly possessive of the sword.  The sword speaks to Lessaris, telling them not to give it up. Lessaris eventually acquiesces, but the sword simply flies back to them. The party gives up for the time being and leaves it with them.     Returning to town, the party debriefs with the Daylight Library and receives their money. They visit Rin Alderfire who says she needs Dynamo's help with a spell to hopefully be able to control the sliphole's destinations better. Dynamo commits to a week of helping her. Dynamo suggests that Rin take a look at the new sword as he can't decern all its properties with Identify. Lessaris refuses to hand it over, instead running away. Yasmeen runs after them, a chase ensuing. Dylan Hobbs has had enough and returns to the cart to take a nap. Dynamo stays with Rin.   Yasmeen uses locate object to keep track of the sword as Lessaris runs, mounted on a bear they have summoned using their Bag of Tricks.  Lessaris runs to Erebos house, hoping for some sort of help. Erebos begrudgingly allows them in. They claim that their party is trying to hurt them and they need his and Turing's help. Shortly behind, Yasmeen makes her way to the same place and pleads with Erebos to help her as the sword has seemingly corrupted her friend. Erebos, frustrated by the intrusion, and having a short fuse as it is, turns Lessaris into a turtle and attempts to hand them over to Yasmeen. Lessaris in turtle form bites Erebos and out of anger he throws the turtle to the ground, blasting it with an Eldritch Blast. This frees Lessaris from their turtle form. Turing uses a vortex warp to teleport the sword from Lessaris and Erebos grabs it from his hand. Erebos, being undead himself, detects that the swords power is some kind of undead, and very much desperately and absolutely wants nothing to dop with it. He throws it out into the street, saying it's their problem, so fetch. Yasmeen and the bear both make a break for it. Yasmeen manages, in a surprising display of acrobatics, just barely to dive and roll and grab up the sword. She begins running, putting the bear to sleep. After a hitting Yasmeen with an Eldritch Blast, Lerssaris summons a hyena, even faster than the bear, and pursues. Once in range Yasmeen attempts to sleep the hyena as well, but its much stronger than the bear, and so the hyena and Lessaris manages to catch up. Lessaris attempts to jump off the hyena and land on Yasmeen, but falls flat on her face. At this point the sword itself proceeds to use telekinesis to lift Yasmeen in the air by her throat. After floating 60 feet in the air, Yasmeen manages to free herself, crashing to earth. Seeing this Lessaris has a change of heart, attempting to harm the sword. Yasmeen still doesn't trust her. Noting the change in their attitude, the sword talks to Yasmeen, saying maybe they should be their new wielder, and blasts Lessaris with a huge psychic blast. Yasmeen stops to heal Lessaris, then continues running. The sword attempts to dominate Yasmeen, but she resists. Yasmeen assumes this is what happened to Lessaris. As she finally approaches Rin's workshop, Rin and Dynamo hear her screaming for help. They rush out and come together, and Yasmeen throws the sword to the ground. Lessaris once against attempts to grab the sword, but Dynamo stops them. They all pile onto the sword to prevent it from flying away as Rin runs back to the workshop and brings back an Anti-Magic chest, which they throw the sword into and all take a deep breath.
