Purpose / Function
A place where the Tamarud al-Sir meet and discuss things. Zein kinda lives there. It is underneath a house, far in one of the villages. So they don't get caught, obvs.
Alterations
Well, it kinds was never there before Zein started hacking at the underneath of his house. He dug a hole, and, when he thought he was far down enough, he started digging outwards. Of course he didn't do it all himself. The others helped. Necessary also, because his hands are all blistered. It's not very big. In fact, most stuff happens above ground - because the house is very far away from al-Madina and al-Qasr. But they hold all meetings underground, and house all maps and other incriminating evidence down there. It's hidden by a trap door. But the trap door is also subtle.
Architecture
It's basically dust and rock. The house on top of it is nothing special, and looks like all other houses in the area. And the underneath is nothing special. Just a bunch of tables and chairs, and dust.
