The town library is a long and narrow building of mixed brown and red brick construction which lends itself to a mottled, disheveled appearance on the exterior. However, once inside the foyer the illusion of a ramshackle building falls away, revealing finely carved dark wood walls, a fine hard wood floor, and permanently burning and floating globes of coldfire for light gently bobbing near the center of each hallway's ceiling.
