Hemmel Bleakmoss

A lonely shaman in the village of Flickerpond. When Hemmel was born, he was cursed by a spiritbeing and his body became the prison for several lost spirits. When he got older, he found a way to help the spirits plaguing his mind. He found old corpses, which he used evoking and spiritguiding to resurrect. He used the spiritguiding to force roots to grow on and in the corpses, keeping them intact and evoking to make them move. He says this gives the spirits in his head a new home, but he has been shunned for his "necromancy" and lives alone in the swamp. A lot of Flickerpond's bad luck has been blamed on him and his magic.

Personality

Hemmel is usually very confused and can be hard to talk to, so instead he goes around talking to spirits, both the ones in his head and in the bodies he makes. Sometimes the spirits in his head take over the body and you can notice changes in his personality. Often he just gets very quiet. Hemmel has a fascination for nature, like many other swamp dwellers, and has a big garden which he tends to, with the help of his undead spiritfriends.

Appearance

Hemmel has always been compared with a frog when it comes to his looks. A lot of Swampdwellers has a green tone to their skin, but he also had a very prominent chin and mouth, and bright green eyes that are just a bit too far apart. He has very little hair and is very short. He's often seen wearing a blue robe and carrying a long staff which has flowers growing on it.
