Lying just beyond what is possible, in a place only those willing to believe can find, lies a world of mystery, fantasy, imagination, and terror. A world that could only ever exist in a story, and yet exist it does.   They say you enter by dreaming of a long, stone hallway and that nobody ever returns, but the stories must come from somewhere. Either that or they truly are just stories.   But stories are powerful things to the open minds of certain people, and people who create stories are powerful, too. Maybe they're drawn to this place by the desire to be more, the desire to do incredible things or the desire to be in control of a world they created.   In this world, a story has physical form. The characters, places and events are just as real to observers as they are to each other. But what happens when a story is left unfinished, leaking away from its creator's mind as they get on with their life in the real world? when a character's path simply stops, but the character persists? when someone won't let go of the fiction, but has no power to decide its outcome?   The world is decaying, fraying at the edges. The characters act on the whims of their partial sanity, the places shift into new forms, and all the while each thing is corrupted more as it slips away from the mind of its creator   So it is just a story. but that doesn't make it any less deadly.
