Solarus Detective Agency
As you approach, you see a set of two golden arches and a Sun symbol on the center-top of their connection. The archway is saying something, in what appears to be the ancient human language of Latin! You thankfully welcome the challenge today for some reason, though normally the phrase "Solarus Deprehensores! Lucem in arcana quaevis effundimus!" would easily be translated by you into "Solarus Detective Agency! We shed light on any mystery!" There was something different this time. That phrase being repeated in your mind invites a lovely sense of warmth and recollection of calming, sweet moments. You can't quite think of the reasons why yet, but it seems like you'll probably figure that part out later. Focus brain! More important things to worry about here!
That fleeting feeling welcomes you into what appears on the outside to be a polarizing, darker building. It was almost as if it were made from shadows itself, formulated into small clouds that seemed to extend just tall enough to match your physical form and give you a few feet of headway to enter with. It truly was as ethereal as they said. Curiously, you decide to touch the building, but its black cloud appearance was more than just visual. You rear your arm back before realizing the shadows clung to you a bit. In a frantic haze you shake your palm to try and get the bit of cloud that was attached to your claws to release itself. It did so a lot more gently than expected given the force of your gestures and then slowly floated back to formulate the outside of the building.
Feeling as though you did something wrong, and worried that the enforcement brigade would soon arrive to force you in front of Calypso's tyrannical council, you step into the center, where a pure black doorway greets you and lets you pass through unharmed. At least at first. Suddenly you realize there is nothing inside and the door slams shut behind you. A calming voice encourages you to enter further, as now, you realize there's no way out. You're stuck with whatever this creature truly is.
"This is Detective Noir, and you are Chronias. Now... how may I help you today?" The shadows slightly part and allow you to visually see the light of a smoke. Isn't smoking supposed to be sinful? How is this guy able to get away with what I KNOW I can't get away with!? The frustration boils over within you and then you shake your head, feeling like this creature is getting to know your inner demons a bit too well. These could easily be used against you if you're not careful. Your mental walls formulate and suddenly, ACTUAL REAL WALLS form, blocking you from seeing the light.
"See, I know you worry I'm attempting to do you harm, but what I sense is not anger, frustration, or even fear. More so a lack of ability to trust. See... my skillset makes me an exceptional detective. I can sometimes even read signs just from how a person enters into my building. My... personal headspace you see. You may not ever believe me, but this power does not put you in danger. Calypso's cronies shall not reach you in here. That is how strong my powers can be." Suddenly, you feel more at ease and realize... that while this may be dangerous, allowing Calypso's dogs to track you down could be the end of your entire existence. The walls release, and light pours in, and the room returns to a very reasonably lit and cozy, small office. You have finally gotten to meet the one they call Noir. And... he for some reason, makes you feel a warmth and comfort you never had.
"I'm glad you're here. I've been expecting your arrival this time. Now... what can you tell me about those automata that always follow you around?" Um... wait... automata? I don't remember them.... something is still very wrong here.... he's not doing this... Calypso is.

I would expect to hear Saint Eve being played in the lobby. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYJDba1tJj4
