The Amethyst Tower

The second tallest tower in the world, that appears to be made of entirely amethyst crystal. It always appears to be glowing slightly with magical energy. It is the home to the largest magical library (and non-magical) and the second largest reliquary. Anyone is free to study here, but darker experiments are often forbidden. The tower has a heavy emphasis on practicing magic safely and for the betterment of all.
It has a small town called Amethyst Square that surrounds and provides for the tower. The town is built on a small island in the Red Lake called the Amethyst Isle.
