This desert town existed very limitedly with the outside world for a long time and were very weary of strangers. This led them to develop some unique customs not found elsewhere, such as their spiritual belief in Ka. In recent years they have opened up to travelers more as travelers have become more common.
They now make a living ferrying people across the oasis to The Serene Gardens. Surprising to the people of Hambry was that many found their way of life peaceful and in one life time the village has grown into a bustling town.
