The largest alchemist shop in Vulanti City and the largest supplier of potions in the world. The key to their success however is a closely guarded secret that, outside of the owners, is only known by a particularly cleaver group of thieves (The Maelstrom Party.) These alchemists are the only ones to figure out how to successfully brew large vats of potions and poisons. As opposed to the traditional method which allows for brewing about a cauldron worth.
The main floor of the building is split between the fairly large store area and the warehouse in the back. The basement, which is dug extra deep, houses the laboratory of vats where everything is brewed. These are being powered by an experimental engine that has been massive scaled down from the airships it’s normally used on, but still gives off the same level of light and heat.
The upstairs holds a highly secure safe protecting the recipes that they use and the owner’s personal office. The upstairs is blocked off at the top by a metal door with a passcode lock.
The front and back doors of the store have fairly simple locks, but if forced open a silent alarm will go off at the owner’s house. This can be seen by the crystal lights on the wall blinking red if the alarm is going off. This spell would be easily revealed with a detect magic spell, but is otherwise well hidden.
The actual store floor offers just about every potion and poison that you could imagine, but they are very loosely labelled. It’s hard to tell what is what without one of the workers there or a potions expert.
The basement is dug much deeper than most normal basements would be in a city like this one. The basement is lined wall to wall with massive boiling vats of liquids in many various colors. Potion brewing on a scale that many would believe to be impossible.
The vats are connected by pipes that run from under a massive cauldron up to the ceiling, and all of the pipes are leading to the back of the basement. The pipes all lead to a metal box that’s glowing red hot from whatever is contained within. Lifting the box up releases blindingly bright light fills the room. Moving the hot metal aside reveals an engine, similar to the ones that power airships, but significantly smaller than anything known commonly. The light emitted is magical and so cannot be stopped by magical darkness; it can only be stopped by placing a large, solid metal cover over it.
