Deathsticks

Extremely dangerous drug that is known for its long high where you are in constant ecstasy. Derived from a plant that is safe to consume underwater this drug transforms in the open air into something potent and dangerous. The drug doesn't go bad once it's changed into this form, but it has to be consumed in specific order or it will result in death.
The user must first smoke the deathstick, like a cigar, until the entire plant is burned. The plant maintains its shape during the burning process and turns from a greenish-white to a deep blood red. The user must then consume the deathstick as quickly as possible, many users claim it must be done it a single bite, but the key is to just do it as quickly as possible. It must be chewed to free the pulp, simply swallowing the deathstick will still result in death.
Smoke then Eat
Any order other than smoking the plant and then eating it will result in death, but the outcome varies. 

• Eating the plant without burning it will cause extreme stomach pains and cramping as your internal organs melt. This be stopped with some high level healing magic, but otherwise the user will be dead in at most 20 minutes.
• Smoking the plant and then not eating it, or waiting to long to eat it, will cause your brain to begin melting. Once this process begins eating the plant will not stop it. Extremely high level healing magic can stop this, but the damage dealt to the brain is irreversible. The user will lose 1 point of Intellect followed by 1 point of wisdom, this will repeat every 6 seconds until both stats reach a permanent 0 and the user dies. These stat decreases can't be undone if they occur and the user is healed. This is considered the worst of the ways to die and the most painful.
• Smoking the plant and then smoking it again causes instant death as soon as the smoke touches the inside of your mouth.
