Military action
The Four Heroes capture London and depose Queen Isabella I.
The siege begins after a summer campaign in which Sir Fredrick Brasden's forces assume control of all of Northern England. After a long entrenchment the attackers successfully undermine the Camden Gate and seize control of the city. Queen Isabella is forced to renounce her claim to the throne and present her crown within the Speaker's Hall of Parliament. The Queen's Chancellor, Brother Brynstan Paulings (known as "the Kantor"), is exposed as an agent of the Hidden Hand and executed for treason. Against the wishes of Premier Garland's parliamentary delegation, Sir Fredrick puts the former queen's infant daughter under his own protection. She is raised in the care of Fredrick's sister, Lady Laura Bazhurdan.
