An ancient biodome is destroyed by Phoenix agents. Janov Seldon begins his quest to find the seven SEAs.

The Phoenix Order sends a death squad to penetrate the defences of the Four Heroes' original base of operations in Brightmoon. Lord Protector Simon Aimery and Marcel Lebeau are both vaporized in a battle within the walls of Mount Tycho. Denille Olivaw, Salvor Dorrick, Simon Lebeau, and Janov Seldon, the current master of the mountain, escape the detonation of the mountainside and live to fight another day.
