While exploring the Moon Vault, the Thorpe Expedition obtained a local map of the Rift Delta from the decomposed remains of an unlucky traveller (February 19th, 1000 PCE). This map yielded the relative location of Renewal Station 4 (hex coordinates and 5 Discovery Points).

The Renewal Stations were technological landmarks created by the Visitors/Watchers to cleanse the local environment and render the Forbidden Zone suitable for human habitation. The Renewal Stations that have been discovered so far share common characteristics: memory banks, Autodoc healing pods, and concealed caches of technological items.
