The Silver Raven
Background
The Silver Raven is a Dauntless Class light cruiser for Battle Fleet Euphorian in service for the last 3 centuries, relatively new by Imperial standards. Named for the house crest of a planetary governor who for a century defied chaos invasion of his homeworld before he perished during the final battle, the prow boasts, in place of the traditional eagles head, a large silver raven, wings spread and claws outstretched.
Its armament boasts 6 broadside macro-cannons on each side, 2 dorsal macro-cannon turrets, and a large forward lance under the prow.
Its sub-battlegroup has been assigned to the Pelone warzone to combat the Chaos ships that are attacking from the Great Rift.
The ship was disabled and the crew killed during the battle. It was commandeered by the Rogue Trader Ovie gReth and used to escape the Pelone system in 015.M42 after some emergency repairs by Gelt Alpha-Mu 36 .
