Arcane Spell Casting

Arcane spell casting is the hardest to master and manipulate compared to the other five magics. This is due to the strict requirement of soul strength and the calculations along with precise movements.

Technique

Understand that while we do give insight on how to control this magic, it is not all inclusive. It takes years of practice and study to being able to use it at a basic level and a simple paragraph does not do it justice. Please be mindful of this fact.
Most spells take from either two sources, the soul or the air. The soul is the most common source the wizards use to cast spells They draw upon this source to bend the magic. In theory this would harm the individual caster, but that is death magic or necromancy. Arcane magic uses the excess energy produce by the body. Think of this as a pouring water through a sieve, taking the leftover water left behind. Using this extra power is key for magic. The other source is the air. Just like in the sieve metaphor, that excess energy and emanate from life and flow into the air if it's strong enough. Therefore, certain places can feel magical. Drawing on this power is another method of use as well. While tapping to these is different for everyone, people typically latch onto a feeling. The feeling can't be described by mere words. It would be like describing a new color. It would be impossible to people who do not feel the touch of magic. Tapping into these sources can be hard at first, but with practice can one truly understand its power.
If one can draw upon a source magic, the spell casting is even more difficult. Spells are made by concentrating the right amount of magic into a specific flow to create the desired results. Alongside a focus tool such as a gem, spell book, staff or wand can ensure this concentration is accurately applied. Start with your focus in hand and begin focusing the magic into the focus or a single point. Once enough magic is concentrated it will begin to glow, this means you can proceed with drawing the spell instructions.
Every spell requires their own instructions which should be obvious, but they do require separate amounts of concentration. Most, after the spell is drawn, is used immediately. This could be an explosive ball of magic to a powerful gust of wind. Generally, there is a known endpoint of the spell whether that be a location or time. However, more complicated spell requires that motions to continue until an endpoint is found. A magically barrier would be a great example, in that to maintain its strength the spell must be maintained until it is no longer required. In this way spells can be extended/shorten or weaker/stronger by how much you concentrate on the spell.
In essence, you need to have a sharp memory to memorize the spell instructions. In some cases, people transcribe them into a spell book to have the spell on hand, but it can't be altered. Making one mistake can have dire consequences depending on the power of the spell.

Manifestation

This magic is not orderly, it's chaotic just as the living world has been since Yenkisavias create the first seeds of life. Only when you bring it under your control, to bring order to life, can one control it. Under natural circumstances, the magic flows freely within the air around living things creature an invisible aura. It mixes and creates new life, thoughts, emotions, and ideas. By harnessing this power is the only way to wield it.
