The first generation to leave Earth was not raised for it.   They arrived on Luna, in orbit, and aboard long-duration missions with Earth’s stories still echoing in their ears — stories of gods, nations, borders, and belonging. But in the dark between worlds, those stories begin to bend. Not break. Just… shift.   In the early decades of Sol Expansion, the human spirit begins to drift, slowly but perceptibly. Some cling more tightly to what they knew — familiar religions, comforting philosophies, national pride translated to celestial ground. Others begin to ask new questions: — What does it mean to worship from orbit? — Does citizenship end at the Kármán Line? — How does one come to terms with leaving 'home', perhaps permanently?   New spiritual movements emerge, blending old theology with cosmic imagery. Fringe sects celebrate the silence as sacred. Cultural identities tied to Earth geography begin to blur in transit. “Spacer” is no longer just a slang term — it's becoming a culture.   It is still early. Still personal. But the psychic gravity of Earth is weakening, and no institution yet knows how to replace it.
