Karen Thorncroft is a retired noblewoman with an iron grip on the neighborhood’s Homeowners Association. Karen enforces rules with an almost supernatural efficiency—no unsanctioned spellcasting, no "unsightly" magical creatures, and absolutely no humaniform robots. Rumor has it she possesses an enchanted quill that can alter contracts and bylaws with a single stroke.
