The House of the Spider is the Royal family of Arania. Part of their claim to rulership is that they claim to be direct descendants of Arachneia.

History

In 54 3E, Ilya Lockhart was the King of Arania and head of the household. During Belladonna's Final Ball, the explosions caused Ilya's death and paralyzed his younger brother, Ivan. Ivan was then married to Qibynn and they had twins together.
