Goliaths
Goliaths are a towering and rugged race of Giantkin known for their immense size, strength, and connection to the mountains and highlands of Jotunheim. Standing well over 7 feet tall, goliaths possess muscular frames and a hardy nature, making them exceptional warriors, climbers, and survivalists. They are often found in remote, harsh environments, such as towering mountain ranges, where they live in close-knit tribes and follow a code of personal achievement and respect for the natural world. Goliaths value endurance, competition, and self-reliance, often measuring their worth by their ability to overcome physical challenges and survive in the wilderness. Despite their imposing appearance, goliaths are deeply loyal to their tribes and have a strong sense of honor, willing to fight to protect their people and the lands they hold sacred.
Due to their imposing presence and strong ties to both humanoid and giantkind cultures, Goliaths are often used as emissaries between humans and giants. Their ability to bridge the gap between these two worlds has earned them respect from both sides, and many goliaths serve as mediators in times of tension or negotiation. Notably, it was a group of goliath leaders who orchestrated the Jotunheim Pact, a historic agreement between the giants of Jotunheim and the human kingdoms, aimed at ensuring mutual respect and ending the Terror of the Giants.
Notable Goliaths include Talos Beauregard.
