Personal history
Annie Whistlefeet struggled with gambling addiction for many years. To get away from it all, she moved to Swanford and started a produce stall.
In 78 3E, she first met The Iron Fairies as she was tending her produce stall in the market. They asked her about the statue of Flamora in town square.
Later that day, she heard a rumor that someone was selling draws from the Deck of Many Things. Unable to resist, she went and found that it was the Iron Fairies once again. They charged her only 200 gold in exchange for a discount from her wares in the future. She agreed and drew the Skull card, which summoned an Avatar of Death. While the group was trying to figure out what to do, Mitus the Mighty offered to kill her, to which she adamantly refused. The Avatar of Death then killed her and disappeared, after which Puck promptly revivified her.
She never gambled ever again.
