Personal history
In 1491 DR, Sparkrender arrived on Stormwreck Isle, seeking to use the power of the Dragons that had died there to make himself more powerful. He took over the Clifftop Observatory and gained several Kobold minions who carved effigies of these dragons.
He then found a bronze dragon wyrmling, Aidron, who he believed he could use as part of this ritual. He locked him in the hidden library inside one of the towers of the Observatory and kept him there for about a tenday.
On the 4th of Flamerule, the Heroes of Phandalin arrived at the Observatory and found a sleeping Sparkrender there. They accidentally woke him while trying to solve the hidden library puzzle. Owen taunted him and he focused mostly on him, taking him out twice (with him having been revived by Pryndor the first time).
The group was quickly able to nearly defeat him. Sparkrender attempted to flee, but Rascal's Agnozing Mark caused him to fall from the sky, slamming into the water's surface below. He sank and did not come back up.
