The world of Illithea has changed drastically since the event known as 'The Cataclysm'. Continents were reshaped, climates changed and races moved or vanished all together. The old kingdoms are no more and people strive to survive, now slowly crawling back from the precipice of complete destruction.
In this setting the adventurers re-explore the world from the last known bastion of civilization: Morningstar. A massive city built on terraces which were formed during the cataclysm. Now after roughly 250 years of being confined to the city, civilization wishes to explore the new world and make their mark on it. The explorers guild is always looking for new adventurers to make the cut.
Since the cataclysm the gods have gone silent and people with a true connection to them have becoming increasingly rare as time progresses. A mystery left to the material plain since that fateful day. Could the new world provide answers?
