Masked Ones

Some say the Masked Ones are a cult and others claim them to be religious sect. In truth the Masked Ones are a group who seek to, in part, bring the Dragons back to their former glory. To this end they look for anything Draconic related, be it ruins, items or knowledge. They appear to be well funded by several unknown sources. Members are often assigned particular tasks and each carries a mask that denotes key information along with their own personal story. Some say the leaders are Dragons themselves, arguing that the title of Masked Ones refers not to the masks the members wear but instead that the leaders are Dragons themselves, masked and hidden from sight. 
Members or Agents of The Masked Ones who are adventurers are often selected to find a particular artifact, track down dragons or dragon sightings, or work with others in order to assist Dragon related matters. Although a significant proportion are Dragonborn, many Humans believe they can co-exist and join the ranks.
