The Disavowed

When Imperio Verdugo rose to power in the last two centuries, the land was permanently stained red with the blood of their conquest. Kingdoms were crushed beneath their boot and absorbed into their territory to become just another part of the machine. These wars left many without homes, families, or flags.

This tradition of bloodshed did not change over the many decades since. Oppression and tyranny are known all too well by those in Central Aegia, and eventually this hit a breaking point for many people.

To say that the Disavowed were formed would be fallacious to the entire idea of what they are. There was no founding of an organization or formal succession. A collection of people that lost something that kept them anchored to their life found themselves together. Over the course of many years, this group grew exponentially.
